See, this could be what you are missing!

Just go for it. If you don't know how, ask someone who does!

Jake at the Newport Pier.................

......Craig with a Cedros Island beauty.

100 pound Yellowfin on the lower banks in Mexico aboard the Royal Star.....................................

......Putting the wood to a 225 pound Thresher.

Lake Havasu isn't just about boating. 10-20 pound carp on 6 pound spinning gear is a lot of fun for the kids!.............

.......Another Lake Havasu "Golden Trout"

Lake Powell entertaining Jakes favorite past time.............

......Scenic wonder at the bottom of Rainbow Falls. Lots of nice size German Browns.

Stream fishing at our favorite campground.........

..........5 pounds of pure Rainbow Trout bliss. Which is bigger, the fish or McKenna's smile??!!!

......I treasure these shots, it just doesn't get better than this!.........

San Juoquin trout better look out, Jake is coming and he looks serious!............................................

Lake Shasta catfish can be pretty big..............

....................There isn't just catfish in Lake Shasta as this beautiful 20" Rainbow proved unable to resist Jake's mepps spinner.

.........Jake and I thoroughly enjoyed the weather and scenery at the 2008 Sierra Nevada trout season opener. Convict Lake was quite generous in that and plenty of Rainbow Trout.

.........Leah is not too sure about this 15 pound Humbolt Squid she caught down in Mexico!!

The fish in Lake Shasta are not the only ones who need to be worried when Jake is in town. Here he is hunting Lake Havasu with pure determination!...........................................................

.........sometimes I even get to have some fun, nothing like tubing some high sierra Rainbow Trout!

Or pulling on some nice size Guadalupe Island Yellowfin tuna and winning the battle before the "tax man", also known as a Great White Shark takes his toll from you. It is pretty impressive seeing these huge apex predators just cruising around the boat waiting for the opportunity to exact his toll in pure ahi sushi...................................

...........last but not least, local fishing in Southern California offers a large variety of species to target. Jake fooled this nice halibut with a live sardine off of Dana Point.

Priceless!!!!
